When I started this blog in July 2016, I didn’t think I would be able to keep it up. At about six months in, I was running out of blog ideas and disenchanted with the whole blogging experience. A little over two years later and I’m still blogging more than I thought I would be. Dropping the frequency of my posts from once a week to once a month is a better pace for me to handle. Here is hoping 2019 is better than last year.
2019 Writing Goals
Write five flash fiction pieces or short stories. I have to make up for my poor showing in 2018 writing shorts.
Publish the fourth novel in the Primordial Realms series. This shouldn’t be hard since the novel is done.
Finish drafting and editing the fifth novel in the Primordial Realms series.
Publish the fifth novel in the Primordial Realms series.
Outline a new series.
Draft at least fifty percent of the first novel in the new series.
Update the homepage and books page of my author website.
Update the headers of my social media.
Write a minimum of three days per week.
Read more quality books.
Some of these are repeats, but are totally necessary. If I can get more done, I will, but I won’t burn myself out. My writing career is a lifelong marathon and thus far I’m happy with my journey.
