The works of E.L. Doctorow, David Eddings, J.R.R. Tolkien, E. Lynn Harris, Anne Rice, Ellen Kushner, Lynn Flewelling and Storm Constantine are also dear to my heart.

It was S.E. Hinton, Mercedes Lackey, and Tamora Pierce’s books in junior high that developed my love for reading and desire to become a writer.
