Stacy Benedict is an urban fantasy and science fiction author. She is currently working on the fifth novel in her urban fantasy series, Primordial Realms. She loves all books in the fantasy genre especially urban, supernatural, and sword and sorcery.
When she is not writing, she spends her time reading and hanging out with her family.
Favorite Authors?
Alice Walker: I read The Color Purple in high school and loved it. From there, I read The Temple of My Familiar and Meridian.
The works of E.L. Doctorow, David Eddings, J.R.R. Tolkien, E. Lynn Harris, Anne Rice, Ellen Kushner, Lynn Flewelling and Storm Constantine are also dear to my heart.
It was S.E. Hinton, Mercedes Lackey, and Tamora Pierce’s books in junior high that developed my love for reading and desire to become a writer.
